It’s lucky Friday the 13th at Steenberg’s Bistro Sixteen82

Friday the 13th is a lucky day for Bistro Sixteen82, Constantia’s darling for tapas and bistro-style fare at the Steenberg cellar door.

It was on Friday, the 13th of November 2009 that the Bistro first opened its doors and 11 years later, regulars still flock back for more of Chef Kerry Kilpin’s lovingly prepared, flavourful favourites.

After a very challenging year and the 5-month lockdown, Chef Kerry and her team, will make this Friday the 13th a birthday to remember, with an inspiring culinary walk down memory lane through their cherished seasonal creations.

“It’s been a really tough year for the entire restaurant industry and we are so happy to see our regulars back enjoying all their old favourites. With the weather warming up our deck is as vibrant as ever,” says Chef Kerry.

From her famous eggs Benedict three ways for breakfast or lip-smacking starters, mains and desserts for lunch, enriched with delicious salsas, exotic twists, and great depth of flavour, your taste buds are in for a special treat. Chef Kerry’s signature tempura prawns, beef tataki and ever so moreish calamari are just some of the culinary treasures ready for you to tuck into.

If you prefer an after-work indulgence or early supper after visiting the Steenberg tasting room, Chef Kerry’s fabulous tapas selection at R355 for two people sharing will hit the spot.

Bistro Sixteen82 is open seven days a week for breakfast and lunch and five nights a week from Wednesdays to Sundays, 09h00 – 20h00 with the last booking at 19h00. To secure your table, call 021-713 2211 or email reservations@bistro1682.co.za.
