MANOR HOUSE SUITES
The Manor House Suites were exquisitely refurbed one year ago. Undergoing an extensive renovation project that lasted four months, the four suites of the estate’s historic Manor House were entirely overhauled, including the addition of a fifth suite.
Both the interior and exterior of the suites received a complete revamp. Formerly known for its Cape Vernacular style in look and feel, the interior renovations now boast a more contemporary, chic look.
The exterior also received a complete overhaul, while maintaining its original style and appeal. The terraces are luxurious yet homely, offering an airy, outdoor setting to relax and unwind as you take in mesmerizing views with a glass of La Petite Ferme’s finest. The inviting swimming pool, perfect for those hot African summer days, was enlarged and the landscape given a modern touch.
I love that much thought and care was given to the décor of the Manor House Suites. Each customized suite has been personally curated by the interior decorator and owner of the hotel.
The bathrooms also received a full makeover. With the installation of premium, luxury fixtures and fittings, the spacious bathroom is another place to find solace and serenity. Find your bliss and indulge in a hot bubble bath or invigorating shower. Theravine amenities include grape-inspired bath and shower gel, body lotion, shampoo, and conditioner.
“All the Manor Suites offer luxuries and carefully considered conveniences such as underfloor heating in the bathrooms, heated towel rails, Wi-Fi, smart televisions, under roof terraces and air-conditioning,” says Riaan Kruger, managing partner of The Nest Collection of which La Petite Ferme is member.
As if all of that wasn’t enough, the WOW factor must be the eye-catching feature wall in each suite, adding an elegant and unique touch to the interior design. The five suites are named John & Carol, Foufi, Helene, Andre and Sryani, and have been named after people who have inspired La Petite Ferme’s owner.
The heavenly Helene Suite was our home-away-from-home for one night. The enormous king-size bed and luxury linen ensured a peaceful night’s slumber. If you’re looking for a romantic and relaxing country escape, look no further than La Petite Ferme’s Manor House Suites.
ALL NEW WINERY SUITES
With ever-changing trends occurring in the hospitality industry, the need for reinvention is key when catering to the tastes of discerning travellers. Formerly an old Wine Cellar, the latest addition to the estate’s boutique accommodation portfolio includes five all-new luxury Winery Suites. These suites opened for reservations in December 2023, and I cannot wait to review them soon.
